The Big Splash
Splash!!! The big shiny red bucket poured on me and my brother. We were in Chicago, playing at a waterpark.
"Do you want to go on the cliff slide?" I asked. He shook his head. "Well I am going." I replied. I walked away and headed to my parents. I told them I was going on the cliff slide, and they joined me in line. They also persuaded Maxim to come too.
I was so nervous even though I looked really excited I had goosebumps all over me. "Mom, Dad, this is the pose I am going to do when I fell into the water." I stated, I made a peace sign with my fingers and smiled. The order in line was my mom, me, Maxim and then my dad. As I watched people go down I wondered if they were nervous like me. Next was a person in front of my mom, two more people, then me left. I watched as she slid off the slide and fell into the water. "oh, no" I muttered, next in line was me.
I watched my mom go down the cliff slide. The lifeguard gave me a thumbs up, which means go down. So, I slid down the slide, and when the slide ended in the air I made my pose and fell into the water. I waited until my head popped up and swam to the edge of the pool and watched my family come down. My brother looked like a stick when he came down.
"That was fun!" I cried. "Let's do it again!" "Sure!!" said my dad. We got in line waited, this time I went first. This is a day I will never forget!
Sounds like so much fun!!
ReplyDeleteI was there and don't think you could have written it more vividly! Well done, Tess.
